Featured at the back of the book is a handy crop planner, if your dream is to harvest fresh, home-grown produce every month of the year, the key is planning. In this section, pages outline what you need to do when in order to harvest some allotment favourites in your own garden.
Outside of the abundantly useful planning practicalities of this book, Alice Pattullo's wonderfully vivid and richly detailed botanical illustrations that accompany throughout, in addition to adorning the cover, makes this gardening publication one to treasure when displaying on your greenhouse shelf or coffee table.
