Ashmolean Museum Oxford
This 11 x 14" print features Morning Mist in Taj Mahal by Yoshida Hiroshi, colour woodblock print.
The woodblock prints created by Yoshida demonstrate his admiration for both travel and mountains. During a four-month journey in November 1930, he explored India and Southeast Asia, resulting in a series of thirty-two prints showcasing the landscapes he encountered. His fascination with the unique lighting found in India is evident in his depictions of the same subjects at various times of day and night.
Supplied unframed, this print comes with a backing board and is sealed in a clear cellophane pocket. Fits perfectly into one of our mini print frames.
