Reconnect with your intuition with Runes for Modern Life: Ancient Divination Cards for Today's Dilemmas. Runes are ancient divination tools that remain potent symbols for personal transformation. Use these beautifully-illustrated colourful cards to find deeper meaning in your life and awaken your insight.
Runes are ancient symbols used for divination, forming a unique alphabet system. This modern edition adapts their 2,000 years of wisdom to meet today’s needs. The cards feature themes such as prosperity, strength, protection, spirituality, travel, opportunity, joy, pleasure, change, energy, and beyond. Each reading offers insights that can be applied to many areas of life. Whether you’re seeking answers about love, finances, or your career, consult the runes to awaken your intuition and gain clarity.
Like tarot cards and the ancient Chinese divination system I Ching, runes are mainly used for divination. They were introduced across Europe through Viking influence and have inspired the fantasy universes of J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, and George R.R. Martin.
When most people hear divination, they often think of fortune telling. However, divination is really about gaining deeper self-awareness. Using a system like runes encourages intuitive connections—selecting a rune symbol at random opens the door to interpreting its hidden significance for personal insight.
If you decide to choose a rune card from this enlightening deck, pause and consider that your choice might have a purpose. Your unconscious mind—the intuitive and insightful part of you—led the way. How will you harness its wisdom?
Each deck includes:
Written by Sunday Times bestselling author Theresa Cheung, an expert on dreams and spirituality, this is a perfect gift for anyone into oracle decks, tarot cards, or Norse mythology. With accompanying illustrations by Camilla Perkins.
