These Oxford Blue oatmeal biscuits are carefully crafted by a local family bakery in Oxfordshire, incorporating their signature Oxford blue cheese into each small batch.
Containing Oxford Blue Cheese, a soft, creamy, and aromatic blue cheese, known for its tangy and spicy notes that linger with an unexpected hint of white wine and chocolate. It’s a French-style English blue cheese crafted using unpasteurised cow’s milk and aged meticulously for 14 to 16 weeks.
The Oxford Cheese Company has been at the heart of Oxford since their shop first opened in Oxford’s Covered Market in 1983. The cheese shop was an instant hit at the time as there were very few specialist cheeses shops anywhere in Britain. In 1995, Baron Pouget began production of Oxford Blue initially to supply his Customers, University Colleges and City Restaurants. Word of mouth spread the cheese’s reputation and it was soon in demand throughout the south east of England.
