Kate’s work will feature in the upcoming special exhibition In Bloom: How Plants Changed Our World on display at the Ashmolean Museum between 19 March to 16 August 2026.
This square magnet comes presented on an Ashmolean branded light-taupe backing card colour matched to the In Bloom exhibition.
This magnet features an original artwork from Kate Friend's photographic series. Shot entirely on film, the British photographer captures intimate studies of flowers and plants selected by renowned creatives from architects and actors to designers, gardeners, writers, musicians, and chefs. A distinctive celebration of botanical beauty and artistic collaboration.
Kate shoots exclusively on film. The final prints are fine art C-types, made using a unique museum-grade printing process, exposing light onto colour paper. The print is then developed and hand-washed using traditional photographic techniques.

Please be aware that orders to International addresses may be subject to local customs duty or taxes. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance, charges include local VAT and duty based on the value and origin of the product.
