A simplistically designed golden ankh hieroglyph necklace. In ancient Egypt, the ankh was a symbol meaning ‘long life’. Ankh amulets were often worn as protective charms.

Named after the ancient plains of Shinar in the Middle East, Shinar Jewels creates luxury jewellery, inspired by the splendour and beauty of the ancient worlds. Designed in London and made in India by skilled craftspeople using the traditional technique of lost wax casting, an ancient process that has been used in jewellery making for thousands of years. Each piece of jewellery is made using ethically sourced gemstones and materials.
