This striking silk tie features a bold and colourful floral design inspired by the Ashmolean Museum's Dutch still life paintings collection.
The original works will be on display in the upcoming special exhibition In Bloom: How Plants Changed Our World at the Ashmolean between 19 March to 16 August 2026.
Dutch still life painting emerged in the late 16th century and became a prominent genre during the Dutch Golden Age, characterized by rich symbolism and meticulous detail.
