A plaster bust based on illustrations and photographs of Queen Elizabeth on her Diamond Jubilee.
The bust has been cast in fine British plaster, and features beautifully detailed imagery and symbols of the Queen, including Buckingham Palace with the guard, a globe, horse and carriage, Windsor Castle, horses of Royal Ascot and the QE2.
Elizabeth II is Britain’s longest reigning monarch, commemorating her 65-year Sapphire Jubilee in 2017. Details below her bust include the Jubilee carriage, Windsor Castle and horse races at Royal Ascot. The Queen was known for her love of horses and racing.
The inscription on the base of the bust reads: QUEEN ELIZABETH II: THE QUEEN’S DIAMOND JUBILEE 2012.
