Kuka-me
This sterling silver statement ring has a nostalgic 60's vibe and boasts clean, bold lines that create a striking visual effect.
This ring is a medium size.
The Bedrock collection is inspired by a famous Andy Warhol print of fluorescent Day-Glo flowers. The texture of the ring is formed with a technique called reticulation which entails heating the silver to almost melting point and then suddenly removing the heat and letting the piece cool rapidly.
After a 30-year career in the jewellery industry, Reema Pachachi decided to launch Kuka-me; meaning uplift or lift me up in Zulu, or Northern Sotho. Reema designs and handmakes her luxurious jewellery in Oxford using recycled sterling silver (nickel free).
