Inspired by traditional blue and white Delft style pottery, this bespoke ceramic decoration depicts the façade of the Ashmolean Museum, which stands on the corner of Beaumont and St Giles' Street in the centre of Oxford.

Crafted by hand in the UK and completed with beautiful coordinating decorative beads and ribbon, this ceramic hanging ornament displays a timeless blue and white colour scheme.

Although opening in 1683, becoming Britain's first public museum, the Ashmolean’s current building, completed between 1841 and 1845, was designed by Charles Cockerell in a classical style as the University Galleries.

Handmade in nearby Berkshire, This item is decorated on both sides, with the reverse featuring the Ashmolean banded logo and delicate spots in the subtle blue shade that elegantly contrasts the white ceramic.

This Museum keepsake makes a flawless addition to your festive decorations!

Exclusive to the Ashmolean Museum.

Founded in 2006 by Dutch designer, Piet van den Beuken, and her husband, Monty Abram, Roelofs & Rubens is a Berkshire-based manufacturer of handmade ceramic hanging decorations.
