Crafted by the experts at Atlantic Mat in partnership with the Ashmolean museum, these ocean mats feature a beautiful reinterpretation of artist, artisan and craftswoman May Morris' embroidery design in a soft gold and dark green colourway.
This product is part of the exhibition collection that accompanies In Bloom: How Plants Changed Our World a special exhibition on display at the Ashmolean Museum from 19 March - 16 August 2026.
A sophisticated reinterpretation of the renowned May Morris' work, this eye-catching floor mat combines heritage aesthetics with practical everyday use. Made in the UK, and super absorbent, this mat is the perfect piece of heritage-inspired home décor.
The ocean mats range are made from ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon developed from waste such as fishing nets and other plastics diverted from landfill waste. The dirt-trapping pile is 100% recycled and the anti-slip backing also contains 65% recycled content.
Made in the UK, the Atlantic Mat range combines innovative materials with decorative design. The mats are washable, designed to last and quick drying. Sustainability is at the heart of the Ocean Mat story, where the past becomes the future when innovative materials blend with exquisite artefacts.
