A wonderful education kit which includes a block containing replica treasure from ancient history which must be dug out with special tool provided. This Terracotta Warrior model measures approximately 11cm when excavated.

The Terracotta Army is a vast collection of statues representing the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. They were buried alongside the Emperor upon his death around 210 BC, for the purpose of guarding the Emperor in the afterlife. The Terracotta Warriors were discovered by local farmers in 1974 in the Ling Tong district of Xi'an City in Shanxi Province. The now iconic figures, of fearsome and imposing aspect, have not yet been fully excavated but it is estimated that there are over 8,000 soldiers, 700 horses, and 130 chariots ranged across three pits - an army of sculptures and truly awe-inspiring spectacle.
