Experience a stunning collection of Japanese woodblock prints with the Japanese Woodblocks 2025 wall calendar, showcasing the works of renowned Japanese print masters.
A traditional artistic medium in Japan, woodblock printing is most renowned for its use in ukiyo-e or 'floating world' prints, which depict the pleasure-seeking lifestyles of the Japanese middle-classes during the Edo period. This calendar includes incredible woodblock prints from some of the most famous and notable artists of this medium: Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), Utagawa Hiroshige II (1826-69) and Utagawa Hiroshige III (c. 1842-94).
This calendar features stunning prints showcasing breath taking rocky cliffs, blooming cherry blossoms, and expansive mountainous vistas, all beautifully rendered with delicate colours in a mesmerizing style. With detail-filled captions accompanying each work.
