Strawberry Bon Bon Sweet Jar

Savour the classic mouth-watering fruity flavour of berries with these Strawberry Bon Bon sweets. Carefully packaged in a charming glass jar, these tasty sugar dusted strawberry flavour chewy treats make an ideal gift for those with a sweet tooth.

The classic look of this traditional sweet shop style confectionary is presented in a beautiful square glass jar. Which, in addition to being more visually appealing, is more functional than plastic wrapping, as it is reusable and more recyclable.

The top of each jar is wrapped with an exclusive Ashmolean branded lid cover featuring decorative colour-themed artwork taken from the museum's collections, and tied up with string to provide a pleasing vintage aesthetic. After enjoying the sweets, the decorative glass jar can be repurposed to store other treats such as homemade jams and chutneys, or to display flowers, candles, or whatever else you fancy!

The original artwork featured on this Strawberry Bon Bon sweet jar is from 16th Century Flemish painter Jan Van Kessel the Elder, titled A Dragon-fly, two Moths, a Spider and some Beetles, with wild Strawberries. This artwork is currently on display in the Still-Life Paintings Gallery at the Ashmolean Museum.

Originally established in 1840 by John Farrah, all products are still all made in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
