Ashmolean Crab Apple Liqueur 35cl

by Gibson's Organic Liqueurs

£20.00

A 35cl bottle of Organic Crab Apple Liqueur, a collaboration between the Ashmolean Museum and Gibson's Organic Liqueurs.

Within this flavourful liqueur there is a hint of star anise used to give a bit of character. The base spirit is a pure, gluten free organic grain spirit, so what you taste is the apples not the alcohol. It is delicious on its own, chilled with pudding or cheese, or put in fizz or a cocktail like an Appletini.

Gibson’s is a fruit farm and winery just outside Burford in the Cotswolds. The story began in 2007 when, after 2 years spent volunteering on organic farms around the UK, Miles Gibson returned home and began planting fruit. After 5 years of gradually increasing the acreage under soft fruit and plenty of fun experimenting with recipes, the first commercial batches of raspberry and blackcurrant liqueurs were produced. It is impossible not to taste the generous amount of high quality fruit that goes into every bottle. The liqueurs are all gluten free and vegan.
