Organic Blackcurrant Liqueur 35cl

A 35cl bottle of Organic Blackcurrant Liqueur, made in the Cotswolds by Gibson's Organic Liqueurs. This award winning blackcurrant liqueur is made from several different varieties, all grown on the Cotswolds farm – Bens Alder, Conan, Tinnan and Hope, plus a mystery variety propagated from cuttings taken from the Manor’s fruit cage.

These blackcurrants are ready to pick from early July through to mid-August. The sugar and spirit used to sweeten and fortify the base blackcurrant wine they make are certified organic. The finished product is naturally rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants, contains no sulphites, is gluten free and is suitable for vegans.

Blackcurrant liqueur makes a delicious alternative to port as an accompaniment to a cheeseboard or add one measure to the juice of one lemon,  crushed ice, dry gin and sugar syrup for a Cotswold Bramble.

Gibson’s is a fruit farm and winery just outside Burford in the Cotswolds. Their story began in 2007 when, after 2 years spent volunteering on organic farms around the UK, Miles Gibson returned home and began planting fruit. After 5 years of gradually increasing the acreage under soft fruit and plenty of fun experimenting with recipes, the first commercial batches of raspberry and blackcurrant liqueurs were produced. It is impossible not to taste the generous amount of high quality fruit that goes into every bottle. The liqueurs are all gluten free and vegan.
