Florals & Birds Notebook Set

£6.50

A set of 3 mini notebooks inspired by jewellery pieces included in the Colour Revolution: Victorian Art, Fashion & Design exhibition. This design has been created exclusively for the Ashmolean.

The jewellery behind this collection dates from the late 19th century and was inspired by Japanese art, which had become popular in the Victorian era. These pieces were created by a number of jewellers including Parisian jeweller Alexis Falize, who was among the first to integrate vibrant flower and birds motifs inspired by Japanese prints in his precious enamels.

Exclusive to the Ashmolean Museum.
