This porcelain mug design is inspired by two pieces shown in the Anselm Kiefer exhibition, and each piece is handcrafted from the throwing to the glazing process. The result is a striking collection of vivid and stunning ceramic products.
Yuta Segawa, an expert ceramic artist from Japan, designed this one-of-a-kind teal, blue and light blue mug using advanced techniques he learned in Japan and China. He has since refined his skills in London, where he is now based.
As these mugs are hand cast and hand glazed, each piece may differ slightly.

SGW Lab is a ceramic studio which was founded by the artist Yuta Segawa in 2018. Yuta created SGW lab to shine a light on handmade pieces in a world where everyday objects are increasingly mass produced. He is greatly inspired by William Morris who was a champion of craftsmanship and lead the Arts & Crafts movement.

Once you have received the collection ready email notification from us, we will hold your order for you up to 2 weeks. Please ensure that you visit the Museum to collect your order within those 2 weeks.
UK 1st Class: delivery 2-5 business days from dispatch
Europe: approximately 3-11 business days from dispatch (customs clearance may cause delays)
Rest of World: approximately 3-11 business days from dispatch (customs clearance may cause delays)
Please be aware that orders to International addresses may be subject to local customs duty or taxes. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance, charges include local VAT and duty based on the value and origin of the product.
Weight Restriction
