Crafted with precision and skill, and inspired by two pieces in the Anselm Kiefer exhibition, this unique blue, coral and plum porcelain mug was designed by master ceramicist, Yuta Segawa.
Drawing on techniques developed in both Japan and China, Segawa has created a truly one-of-a-kind piece. He has since refined his skills in London, where he is now based.
As these mugs are hand cast and hand glazed, each piece may differ slightly.

SGW Lab is a ceramic studio which was founded by the artist Yuta Segawa in 2018. Yuta created SGW lab to shine a light on handmade pieces in a world where everyday objects are increasingly mass produced. He is greatly inspired by William Morris who was a champion of craftsmanship and lead the Arts & Crafts movement.
