Yellow Iris Mini NotepadStationery
Mary Delany (née Granville), born in Coulston on May 14th 1700, was an English artist, letter-writer, and bluestocking, known for her "paper-mosaicks" and botanic drawing, needlework and her lively correspondence. Delany's skill was such that the great eighteenth-century botanist Sir Joseph Banks declared that these collages were 'the only imitations of nature that he had ever seen from which he could venture to describe botanically any plant without the least fear of committing an error'.
This high-quality, mini notebook features her 1777 work, Iris Pseudacorus on the cover.
