Takeuchi Seiho (December 20, 1864 – August 23, 1942) was a Japanese painter of the nihonga genre, active from the Meiji through the early Showa period. Nihonga paintings were created from around 1900 onwards, and were defined as those having been made in accordance with traditional Japanese artistic conventions, techniques and materials. While based on traditions over a thousand years old, the term was coined in the Meiji period of Imperial Japan, to distinguish such works from Western-style paintings.

One of the founders of nihonga, Seiho's works spanned half a century and he was regarded as master of the prewar Kyoto circle of painters.
